THE imageRUNNER ADVANCE SERIES LAUNCH
New imageWARE Document Server Extends the Ability to Share Documents,
Driving Advanced Collaboration
Las Vegas, September 22, 2009 – Making it easier to share and manage documents using
the new imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series, Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital
imaging and office solutions, today introduced imageWARE Document Server, a
document management application designed to expand upon the sophisticated
collaborative capabilities of the new imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series.
imageWARE Document Server
represents the server component of a powerful, yet easy-to-deploy and use
triumvirate of Canon advanced document management technology that starts with
the imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series and incorporates the imageWARE Desktop PC
application. Working with the
desktop software, imageWARE Document Server acts as a client server application
to offer a variety of advanced document management functionality, such as Check
In/Check Out, Version Control, Full Text Search and File Indexing. imageWARE Document Server was developed
using Windows SharePoint Server, Microsoft’s popular and reliable collaboration
platform, making it simple for IT managers to install, configure and manage.
